Surveyor Scherbel, Ltd. was established in 1951, when Paul N. Scherbel began land surveying in the Big Piney, Wyoming. His business soon branched out into the Jackson, Afton, LaBarge and Cokeville areas (as well as in Utah and Idaho). Surveyor Scherbel, Ltd. was incorporated on June 28, 1960 and remains a family owned and operated business:

• Scott A. Scherbel: President
• Karl F. Scherbel: Vice-President 
• Marlowe A. Scherbel: Treasurer
• Annette Priddis: Secretary

Surveyor Scherbel, Ltd. maintains its original office in Big Piney and has a branch in Afton, Wyoming.
